The Verdict: 

You can understand this one from both sides. Of course Millwall are disappointed to lose a player with so much potential and one they could possibly profit from in a few years time. They clearly put a lot of effort into trying to convince him to stay too.

However, for the 16-year-old he will just be keen to develop his career at the best level he can which he obviously sees happening at Rangers as it stands.

Despite the frustration, Lovelace was keen to make sure he thanked everyone at Millwall who had helped him develop to this point and the club will no doubt hope he does well and is a positive reflection of them.
