Since arriving at the City Ground in the summer, Yuri Ribeiro has been an important player for Nottingham Forest so far this season.

The 22-year-old has made ten appearances for Forest since joining the club on a permanent deal from Benfica and has played a key role in the Reds' promising start to the campaign under Sabri Lamouchi - starting seven games in the Championship.

The Portuguese left-back has missed Forest's last three matches through injury, but he's still impressed fans massively with how quickly he's adapted to English football.

He seems to have settled in to life at his new club very comfortably and he has already been able to establish himself as a fans' favourite at the City Ground.

With this in mind, plenty of Forest fans are likely to be interested Ribeiro's latest social media post. The defender took to Twitter recently and posted a photo of a retro Forest shirt from the 1996/97 season - which was signed by himself.

The Verdict

Ribeiro is a very talented footballer and he's really impressed me with how quickly he's adapted to the Championship.

His displays for Forest at left-back this season have been very encouraging and he could have an important role to play in the Reds' promotion push this season.

He seems to have settled in to life at the City Ground very comfortably and seems to be really embracing the history of the club - I'm sure is something that Forest supporters will love to see.
