More good news emerged on Monday from the club's group out on loan.

Sky Blues youngster Jordan Ponticelli made his return to football in a reserves match for Macclesfield Town after nearly three months on the sidelines.

Ponticelli offered this update following his outing:

Ponticelli moved to the Silkmen on a season-long loan deal on deadline day in the summer but suffered a nasty injury just over 30 minutes into his debut against Crewe Alexandra.

The 20-year-old made an impressive 19 appearances for the Sky Blues in League Two last season as they won promotion via the play-offs, scoring three goals in the process.

Macclesfield will be pleased to see him back as they continue to struggle towards the bottom of the fourth tier.

But, it is the Coventry fans who were particularly happy to see him back to full fitness...
