In the race for automatic promotion in the Championship, Sheffield United did their part taking all the points in a 1-0 win away at Preston, to then find out they had leapfrogged Leeds United when the news of the Whites defeat to Birmingham City reached Chris Wilder's side.

The Blades now head into the final six matches of the season with a single point lead over their Yorkshire rivals, in what is proving to be one of he closest finishes in the English second tier for many a year.

So how should Sheffield United fans be feeling after Leeds' defeat?

We discuss.........

Sam Rourke

"You've got to be excited.

"It was a sterling result for Sheffield United, and with Leeds losing, it turned out to be a great Saturday afternoon for the Blades faithful.

"It's going to be a rollercoaster though, with many twists and turns to come."

George Dagless

"A bit excited at least.

"The Blades have done a good job, they just need to keep their feet on the ground.

"It's back in their hands, now it's time to deliver."

Gary Hutchinson

“Ready for the next match.

“Unless you’re sixteen points clear with five games left, you’ve won nothing.

“This race isn’t over and there’s no point in celebrating before the season is done.

“Stay focused.”
