Former striker Geoff Horsfield has told the Birmingham Mail, that West Brom striker Dwight Gayle will score 20 - 25 goals for the Baggies, that will put them right in contention come the end of the season.

The 44-year-old, whose 20-year career saw him play more than 300 games in the Football League will be at St Andrew's on Friday night to see Birmingham entertain West Brom in the Championship.

But do our team agree with Horsfield's views on Gayle?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchnson

Yes, he’s already got a few and there’s more to come.

Gayle is a good player, he’s a natural finisher and with the forward players West Brom have I can’t see how they fail

If they serve him chances, he’ll score them.

Horsfield should know, he could bag a goal or two in his day, although not when he appeared for my team, Lincoln!

Sam Rourke

You've got to agree.

You won't find a more clinical striker in the whole of the EFL.

Gayle knows how to score in the English second tier, as he proved at Newcastle and is proving at the Baggies right now.

He'll be right up there for the golden boot gong.

Jay Taylor

Dwight Gayle is a monster in front of goal at this level.

I totally agree with the comments made, I think he is more than capable of breaking the 20 goal barrier and doing it with time to spare.

He is key to West Brom’s hopes this season and in the Championship he is lethal.

If the striker doesn’t make that milestone, I will be very surprised.

Louie Chandler

Yep, and with ease.

Gayle will have been signed to do just that as well after his impressive season in the Championship with Newcastle.

He should absolutely lap up the goals in that attacking quadrant the Baggies have.
