Birmingham City continued their brilliant form on Tuesday night as they saw off Reading at St. Andrew's to win their third match in a row.

Manager Garry Monk continues to garner endless praise from the fans for how he has helped turn the club around and unite the fans once again.

The former Swansea City and Middlesbrough boss took to Twitter to pay his thanks to the fans...

After a goalless first half, it was the hosts who grabbed the initiative as Gary Gardner fired home after latching onto a Michael Morrison knockdown.

Lukas Jutkiewicz headed in the second of the match 20 minutes from time, angling his shot brilliantly back across goal and into the corner, before Yakou Meite pulled a 90th minute consolation back for the visitors.

The win put the Blues within a point of the play-off places, and they will be hopeful of breaking into them on Saturday when they face Sheffield Wednesday.

It was Monk who was the focal point for praise after another impressive win...
