Jonny Evans has departed West Bromwich Albion and joined Leicester City.

West Brom have announced Evans' departure on the club's official website for an undisclosed fee.

That transfer fee is reported to be £3.5m, which was his release clause following West Brom's relegation, and the Northern Ireland international signs a three-year deal with the Foxes to remain a Premier League player.

With 235 Premier League outings to his name, Evans provides a lot of Premier League experience for the Foxes and leaves a void at the back for West Brom, who could also lose Craig Dawson and Ahmed Hegazi.

But many West Brom fans were today celebrating the 30-year-old's exit after a disappointing campaign at The Hawthorns.

Evans played 96 games across three years for the Baggies but lost his place in the team last year due to some poor performances as they were relegated.

Here are how West Brom fans reacted to the former Manchester United defender's departure.
