Jonny Evans has departed West Bromwich Albion and joined Leicester City.
West Brom have announced Evans’ departure on the club’s official website for an undisclosed fee.
That transfer fee is reported to be £3.5m, which was his release clause following West Brom’s relegation, and the Northern Ireland international signs a three-year deal with the Foxes to remain a Premier League player.
With 235 Premier League outings to his name, Evans provides a lot of Premier League experience for the Foxes and leaves a void at the back for West Brom, who could also lose Craig Dawson and Ahmed Hegazi.
But many West Brom fans were today celebrating the 30-year-old’s exit after a disappointing campaign at The Hawthorns.
Evans played 96 games across three years for the Baggies but lost his place in the team last year due to some poor performances as they were relegated.
Here are how West Brom fans reacted to the former Manchester United defender’s departure.

Good luck Jonny, for two years you were magnificent, shame you've been a disgrace this last season.

Probably best for both parties. Was great when he first joined us and all the way up until he went off the rails a bit last season. Obviously wanted away from the hawthorns for some time so it’s always best to let players go if the Albion isn’t there priority

Was great for a couple of seasons. Clearly wanted away last season and it showed in terms of attitude and performance. Badly let us down last season – not alone in that department though. Bye Jonny. Close the door on your way out.

Fantastic news don’t need him

We played better without him
So no real loss. Shut the door on your way out.

Pity couldn't leave the club with better terms . Outstanding first two season but unfortunately what happened last 12 month , leaving the club on a sour note . Deserve the stick he been getting at late to be honest #wba #lcfc

Good riddance! Should have snapped their hands off for £21m last year.
