Samuel Saiz will be leaving Leeds United in January, with Getafe agreeing a deal to bring the attacking midfielder back to Spain.

Despite the Whites fantastic campaign so far, the 27-year-old was unhappy in England and wanted to move to the La Liga side.

And, it was confirmed yesterday that the clubs had agreed a deal that will see Saiz initially join on loan ahead of a permanent transfer.

Following that, Saiz took to Twitter to send a message to the Leeds fans, who seriously took to the player during his time at Elland Road.

They appreciated the work-rate and tenacity of Saiz, along with his undoubted ability on the ball, whilst he clearly valued their support.

Therefore, it's fair to say that most fans were sad to see the former Huesca man go, even if they understood the reasons behind the transfer.
