A tweet has emerged asking for a better bargain than Liverpool’s £8 signing of Andy Robertson and many Leeds United fans have been quick to voice their thoughts.
Robertson has been a fantastic signing and a real bargain for the Anfield outfit, providing 25 assists in 119 appearances and becoming arguably one of the best left-backs in the world.
Name a better bargain than Andy Robertson for £8m.

Leeds don’t have the financial might of Liverpool at the moment but have certainly secured some fantastic bargains of their own.
In their current side, it’s hard to look past Pablo Hernandez. The Spaniard joined on a free transfer and has been phenomenal in his four seasons with the Whites – scoring 33 goals and providing 36 assists.
At 35, Hernandez continues to be a key attacking force in Bielsa’s squad and is still terrorizing opposition defences.
The addition of Luke Ayling wasn’t a bad bit of business either. The man that Bristol City let go for just £250,000 in 2016 already has 145 appearances to his name and proven his quality as a top Championship defender, at right-back or in the centre.
Historically, the arrival of Gordon Strachan for £200,000 in 1989 is a hard one to beat as well, with the Scotsman helping the Whites to a Second Division and a First Division title during his six-year spell.

In modern team I don’t think Luke Ayling from Bristol City for 250k was a bad bit of business 🙂
