New Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka ensured his own mark was put on the squad at The City Ground on transfer deadline day, with a number of coming and goings at the club in the final hours of the transfer window.

The likes of Jack Colback and Costel Pantilimon were added to the squad to provide a fresh injection of quality in the East Midlands, with youngster Zach Clough and Tyler Walker just some of the players to say goodbye ahead of the second half of the season.

The pair were both shipped off to Bolton Wanderers, where they will aid Phil Parkinson’s side in avoiding the drop and securing their status as a second tier outfit.

Clough previously played for the Trotters, but Walker has been drafted in as a replacement for Gary Madine, who joined Cardiff City in a big money deal, and Forest fans will hope to see their promising young forward firing whilst on loan at the Macron Stadium.
