Derby County have completed the signing of Efe Ambrose, with the centre-back arriving to bolster Frank Lampard’s defensive options for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign.

Curtis Davies picked up a season-ending injury earlier in the campaign, which has left Fikayo Tomori and Richard Keogh to guide the Rams from centre-back.

The club have confirmed the 30-year-old’s arrival today, with Ambrose signing a contract until the end of the season.

Ambrose recently left Hibs, whilst the Nigeria international has also had a number of success at Celtic during his time in Scottish football.
