Wolverhampton Wanderers have enjoyed a great start to life under Nuno Espirito Santo, with the club looking well in the mix for promotion after seven fixtures of the season.

Last night’s frustrating 3-3 draw with Bristol City saw Wolves slip further behind the leading pack, but Nuno will be encouraged by the 14 points his side have picked up from a tricky opening.

The clash with Bristol City last night swung one way, then the other, with Wolves trailing at Molineux late in the game following Bobby Reid’s 82nd minute goal.

However, Danny Batth, who was in the starting XI to replace Willy Boly, headed Wolves level just minutes later, rescuing a point for Nuno’s side.

Batth took to social media following the contest, expressing his delight at his goal, but admitting it was a tough match to be involved in and that Wolves will have to learn.
