Sheffield United bounced back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon with a hard-fought victory over Yorkshire rivals Leeds United at Bramall Lane.

The Blades took an early lead through striker Billy Sharp’s wonder goal, before being pegged back early in the second half by German Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s striker.

Sharp, a hero in this part of Yorkshire, bagged the winner in the 73rd minute after cooly converting from the spot, with his two strikes marking his 200th and 201st goals in English league football.

A remarkable record, the 32-year-old has proven himself to be one of the most consistent strikers in the English game since breaking into the first-team set up with the Blades back in 2004, before rejoining the club in 2015.

Sharp shared his delight with a post on Twitter, with fans taking to the social media site to praise the forward for his performance…
