Jamal Blackman’s arrival at Elland Road has ended Leeds United’s quest to bring a new goalkeeper on board.

The 24-year-old arrives at Elland Road on a season-long loan, with Blackman set to compete with Bailey Peacock-Farrell for a starting berth in Marcelo Bielsa’s side next season.

Peacock-Farrell, 21, finished last season as Leeds’ first choice goalkeeper, after making an impressive impact during the final third of the season.

The youngster has now been interviewed by LUTV, where he has discussed the competition that Blackman has brought to the goalkeeping department.

As expected, Peacock-Farrell’s determined interview has received plenty of positive reaction, with Leeds’ supporters quick to deliver messages on Twitter to the 21-year-old.

Here is the best of their reaction…

Peacock-Farrell will have a battle on his hands to become first choice next season, but plenty of Leeds’ supporters are backing him in his pursuit to be No.1.
