Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has a tough decision to make with left-back Barry Douglas unavailable for the match against Brentford at the weekend due to injury.

Douglas's absence could give a chance to young full-back Tom Pearce or Bielsa may consider pushing winger Ezgjan Alioski back into a more defensive wing-back role.

But is Alioski at wing-back an option?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

He could well be an option.

Alioski has the engine and presence of mind to be able to play down that left-hand side.

With Barry Douglas out a player who is similar to him would be the best fit for the job and in the Leeds attacker, they have that.

George Dagless

You'd not be surprised with this.

Personally, I'd like to see Tom Pearce get his chance but Bielsa has the three-man defence in his locker.

Alioski has come in for criticism of late - he'd need to show defensive discipline if given this task.

Gary Hutchinson

He might have to be.

His tracking back and defensive work has been very good, the question marks have been over his crossing and decision making.

It’s not exactly a square peg in a round hole.

Louie Chandler

If I were a Leeds fan I would hope not.

Against Brentford's lethal attack I would much rather see a more defence minded presence on the left of the defence.

But I have doubted decisions made by Bielsa in the past that have proven successful.
