Derby County started 2018 in a disappointing manner after being pegged back against Sheffield United in a 1-1 draw at Pride Park, in a game that saw Derby outclassed for much of the 90 minutes.

After staking their claim on an automatic promotion place prior to yesterday's draw, they were looking to build on this as they faced up against a Blades side struggling for form.

Indeed, in a match that saw them struggle to get shots away and hold possession, they'll find themselves lucky to even get a draw out of the game in a dreadful performance by Gary Rowett's side.

The experienced Tom Huddlestone was one player who looked calm and collected in possession as he often does, playing balls around in the midfield areas looking for inroads.

After collecting the MOTM award yesterday, no one can fault the work of the midfielder.

However, after failing to secure a win that would have seen them extend their lead in the automatic promotion places, the former Hull City star took to his personal Twitter account (@Huddz8) to acknowledge the difficulty in forcing a result.

Fans took to Huddlestone's post in a reassuring manner in the hope that their side can pick themselves up from here to force a play-off place at least.

Nevertheless, here's a look at exactly what fans thought of Tom's response...
