Chelsea are seemingly preparing for life without Maurizio Sarri, with the 60-year-old set to be appointed as Juventus' new manager according to BBC Sport.

It means that the Blues will be looking for their own new boss to take charge at Stamford Bridge, with club legend, Frank Lampard emerging as a clear favourite.

The Evening Standard have recently claimed that Chelsea are set to enter talks with the Derby boss, as they look to appoint him as their new manager.

Chelsea announced today, that they signed Lampard on this day in 2001, and it's common knowledge that he went on to have a successful career with the Blues.

It's certainly going to be an interesting few weeks ahead as Chelsea look to appoint their new manager, and Lampard is seemingly the frontrunner to take charge at Stamford Bride.

It's safe to say that Chelsea fans had a lot to say after this social media post.
