When Marcelo Bielsa took over at Elland Road at the start of June it was supposed to be the start of a joyous period at Leeds United.

It could still well be a great time at the club. But it has far from got off to the best start for the Argentinian.

Only two new faces have arrived at Elland Road so far this summer in the form of Chelsea loanees Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman.

Two good players, but still underwhelming when fans hear of the names that they have been linked with and have been close to signing this summer.

Moves for Matej Vydra, Abel Hernandez, David Stockdale, Angus Gunn, Kyle Bartley and now Jozefzoon have all been targeted by the Whites only for nothing to come of either.

It has been frustrating the Leeds fans and it may well be angering the manager as well.

Bielsa famously quit his job at Lazio after just two days after transfer frustrations.

Could the same happen at Leeds? Will Bielsa be getting angry with their current window?

We discuss...

Louie Chandler

Undoubtedly.

Bielsa is hardly somebody known for hiding his emotions and I am sure members of the board will have already heard his feelings on matters at least once.

Jay Williams

Bielsa's patience must be wearing thin now. Leeds seem to be missing out on target after target and this must be incredibly frustrating when you are trying to build your squad for a promotion challenge.

With the end of the window drawing nearer, it is time that Leeds started finalising more deals, otherwise they are going to struggle next term.

Gary Hutchinson

Frustrated perhaps more than irritated, but then again as manager surely he is partly to blame for it anyway?

I would hope a professional football manager had the patience and calm so often lacking in supporters.

Jay Taylor

You sense that he is. None of the new signings played in the win over Forest Green this past week.

Wether that was tactical or trying to prove a point on Bielsa will know but there is three weeks left of the transfer window and the more time that ticks away the less likely the whites are to get their first choice targets.

Leeds’ squad needs to be improved, that is certain, so you can defiantly sense the frustration that with three weeks left of the window, the Elland Road side are struggling to bring in the players the need.
