Sheffield Wednesday will be aiming to follow up their impressive 2-0 win over Leeds United with another victory this afternoon when they welcome Blackburn Rovers to Hillsborough.

Jacob Murphy and Atdhe Nuhiu were both on target for the Owls in the closing minutes as they sealed a statement victory over the Whites last time out, while Garry Monk’s men also saw off top-flight side Brighton with a 1-0 FA Cup win in the previous match.

This means that Wednesday can make it three straight wins with success over Rovers on home soil this afternoon, while the South Yorkshire side could also move up to fifth in the Championship table with Nottingham Forest not playing until tomorrow.

Monk has named an unchanged side for this afternoon for the Hillsborough clash, with his side seeking to return to winning ways on home soil after losing their last two matches as hosts against lower-placed duo Cardiff and Hull.
