Bristol Rovers have had a tough start to life in League One this season, and are well and truly in a relegation fight this season, and many supporters have been left frustrated by recent performances.

Rovers are currently 21st in the League One table and many fans would have been fearing the club would drop back into the third tier of English football.

That poor run of form has seen Darrell Clarke dismissed as manager of the Pirates today, a move which has been met with a mixed reaction.

Clarke had been in charge of the club since 2014, and guided Bristol Rovers to back-to-back promotions from the Conference and League Two.

The owner of the League One club, Wael Al-Qadi released a statement on his personal Twitter account, thanking Clarke for his efforts with the club.

But how did Bristol Rovers supporters react to Al-Qadi's latest statement?

It's safe to say, it wasn't met with much positivity.
