Reading have completed the signing of Modou Barrow on a permanent deal from Swansea City, the club's official website announced last night.

Reading have paid Swansea an undisclosed fee to prise Barrow away and he signs a four year deal with the Royals.

The Gambia international, who has six senior caps to his name, joins Reading after three seasons with Swansea City.

During that time, the winger netted two goals in 55 appearances in all competitions.

Often criticised for his lack of end product, the 24-year-old endured a torrid loan spell at Leeds United last season, where he failed to impress and was struggling to get a game by the end of the season.

Despite numerous Leeds fans telling them that Barrow was terrible, a large number of Reading fans were still upbeat about this new arrival.
