Millwall have had their fair share of players over the years that have moved on from the club, as they looked to establish themselves in the Championship.

The Lions are currently sat eighth in the second tier standings, and are just two points adrift of the play-off places.

However, due to recent off-the-field events, Gary Rowett's side will have to remain patient in their bid to return to action, with no scheduled return date in place as of yet.

We take a look at FIVE former Millwall players that are playing their football away from the club nowadays, and see what they're up to.

Find out who they are, below....

Marvin Elliott - Kingstonian

Elliott started his career with Millwall and went on to make over 150 appearances in total for the club's first team.

He left the Lions in favour of a move to Bristol City in 2007, and went on to be a regular for the Robins in a seven-year spell at Ashton Gate.

Elliott has since moved to non-league side Kingstonian at the age of 35.

Paul Ifill - Wairarapa United

Ifill made over 100 appearances in total for Millwall across a seven-year spell with the London-based club.

He left the club in 2005 in favour of a move to Sheffield United, and went on to have spells with a number of Australian teams since then.

Ifill is now playing for Wairarapa United in New Zealand, and is still performing to a good standard at the age of 40.

Andy Keogh - NorthEast United

Keogh made 78 appearances for Millwall after signing for them from Wolves back in January 2012.

The forward went on to score 18 goals for the Lions, before being released in the summer of 2014 when his contract reached a conclusion.

Keogh has since had spells in Australia, Saudi Arabia and Thailand, but is now playing his football with Indian side NorthEast United.

Ali Fuseini - VCD Athletic

Fuseini started his professional career with Millwall back in 2006, and went on to make 87 appearances for the club.

But he departed at the end of the 2009/10 season when his contract reached a conclusion. He featured on a rotational basis in that campaign, as the Lions won promotion into the Championship.

He has become somewhat of a journeyman since, and is now playing his football for non-league side VCD Athletic.

Jay Simpson - Nea Salamina Famagusta

Simpson signed for Millwall in the 2007/08 season on loan from Premier League side Arsenal.

The forward was a regular in the team whilst they were playing their football in the third tier of English football, but he didn't return after that spell with the Lions.

Simpson is now playing his football with Cypriot side Nea Salamis Famagusta FC in the top-flight.
