Tony Mowbray's had moved to within just three points of the of the top six before the delay to the season but it remains unclear whether they'll get the chance to close that gap this term.

Rovers will likely be looking to build on that progress in the upcoming transfer window, should their finances allow it.

Amid the delay in other countries, the K League began last weekend and Henry made his debut in the competition.

You may be surprised where these 5 ex-Blackburn Rovers players are playing now

Kilgallon spent three years with Blackburn after joining on a free transfer in 2013.

The experienced Championship centre-back was in and out of the first team, appearing 66 times for Rovers before he left Ewood Park in 2016.

The 36-year-old has moved around quite a bit since then, spending three seasons at Bradford City before joining Scottish side Aberdeen and then signing with Indian Super League outfit Hyderabad FC in September 2019.

Kilgallon was a key man for them in the 2019/20 campaign – missing just one game all season.

The Irish forward's time at Blackburn was a brief and relatively unsuccessful one.

Rovers snapped up Stokes after he was released by Celtic in 2016 but the forward spent just one season with them – scoring three times in his 12 senior appearances.

The 31-year-old has spent time in Scotland, Greece, and Turkey since and now plays for Persian Gulf Pro League outfit Persepolis.

The forward proved a useful asset in the late 2000s for Blackburn, who were a Premier League side at the time.

His record there is not to be sniffed at, with Derbyshire having scored 64 times in his 117 games for the club.

The 29-year-old winger joined from Leicester City in 2013 and was a regular fixture in the Blackburn side before he was snapped up by Wolves four years' later.

Marshall produced some dazzling performances for Rovers – particularly in the 2014/15 season that saw him grab six goals and eight assists.

Things haven't really worked out for him since leaving Ewood Park and the winger has spent this season with Stoneclough in the 12th Tier of English football.

You'd imagine that will just be a temporary thing but it is still quite a story for the club, who have named him "the biggest signing of their history".
