Burnley have had their fair share of players over the years which have struggled to make a notable impact in their time at Turf Moor.

However, the club seem to have established themselves in the Premier League under the management of Sean Dyche, and are in a strong position to finish inside the top-ten in the top-flight.

We take a look at FIVE former Burnley players and see where they're playing their football nowadays.

Wallace is a player that plenty of Burnley fans will remember well, after featuring regularly for them over a five-year spell with the club.

The midfielder was released by the Premier League side in 2015, and moved to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday shortly after.

After three years with the Owls, he left before joining Fleetwood Town, where he spent a year with the League One club.

But Wallace is currently with Scottish side St Mirren in the top-flight, where the season has been concluded early due to the recent off-the-field problems.

Lafferty spent five years with Burnley, but spent the majority of his time out on loan, with the left-back struggling for consistent minutes.

He signed for Sheffield United on a two-year deal in January 2017, but struggled to make a notable impact at Bramall Lane, which resulted in him leaving the Blades in the summer of 2019.

Lafferty is now playing his football for Irish side Shamrock Rovers.

Hennings arrived at Burnley with an impressive record in front of goal with German side Karlsruher SC, but he struggled throughout his time at Turf Moor.

He made 28 appearances for the club, but only scored twice before departing in favour of a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf back in Germany.

They're back playing football already in the Bundesliga, and Hennings will be hoping he can fire his side to safety in the top-flight.

Williams spent a season on loan with Burnley in 2009 from Middlesbrough, but didn't return to Turf Moor.

His career has taken a surprising turn since leaving Boro in 2016, as he opted to join Australian side Perth Glory, before moving to Melbourne Victory.

But the 31-year-old is now playing his football in Saudi Arabia with Al-Qadsiah.

Mills signed for Burnley permanently back in 2013 after an impressive loan spell in the previous season from Reading.

The left-back only made 12 appearances for the club, but departed in favour of a move to Oldham Athletic in the summer of 2014.

He is now captain of Forest Green Rovers in League Two, and has been a regular for them under the management of Mark Cooper.
