Brighton and Hove Albion secured Premier League football for another season, and Graham Potter will already be planning on what to do to ensure they are competing higher up the league table.

To keep you entertained before then though, we've scoured the globe to find five ex-Brighton players at teams that may surprise you...

The winger spent 18 months with the Seagulls at the start of the last decade and helped them secure promotion to the Championship in 2010/11 – grabbing two goals and six assists in the second half of the season.

He was impressive again the following season and was snapped up by Cardiff City in August 2017.

Noone was a fantastic servant for the Welsh club but, after a two-year stint at Bolton, swapped English football for the A-League last summer.

The 32-year-old had made an impressive start to life with Melbourne City before the delay to the season, grabbing six goals and six assists in 25 appearances.

The central defender made 19 appearances for Brighton across two loan spells in the late 2000s.

Rehman is something of a journeyman, having featured for seven different English teams, but can now be found plying his trade in the Hong Kong Premier League.

The 36-year-old joined Southern District on a free transfer from Gillingham in 2017 and has gone on to make 46 appearances for the club in total.

The forward spent one season with the Seagulls – scoring six times in the 2005/06 Championship campaign before Sheffield United swooped for him.

Things didn't work out for Kazim-Richards with the Blades and he has bounced around between a lot of different clubs since.

The 33-year-old has played in Turkey, Greece, Scotland, France, the Netherlands, and Brazil since but now represents Mexican side CF Pachuca.

Kazim-Richards had grabbed two goals and one assist in 11 games for the club before the delay to the 2019/20 campaign.

Brighton landed the defensive midfielder ahead of the 2013/14 season but despite spending two years at the South Coast club, he managed just 17 appearances.

The 33-year-old has moved around a lot since leaving the Amex in 2015 – featuring for sides in Norway, the Netherlands, and the Philippines before returning to English football with National League side Barrow.

Agustien can now be found at Mickleover Sports FC in the seventh tier of English football.

The Dutch winger joined Brighton after impressing for Dutch side Feyenoord but never managed to really find his feet for the South Coast club.

Manu's fortunes have been much improved since leaving the Amex, particularly in the Turkish Super Lig where he grabbed 11 goals and five assists in his 52 appearances.

The 26-year-old joined Chinese second tier side Beijing Rehne in the summer and featured 12 times for the club before the delay to the season.
