Fan favourite at Sheffield Wednesday has shared a video to get fans excited as he returns to pre-season training.

Keiren Westwood took to Twitter to share the video of him back in action, as he is seen hopping around the goalmouth at the Wednesday training ground.

In the video, Westwood can be seen do a series of exercises, drills and some slightly more questionable keepy uppies. He is joined by fellow keepers, Cameron Dawson and Joe Wildsmith - who appear to be having a nicer pre-season routine than what some of the outfielders might be up to.

There were doubts about Westwood's future after another successful season last year, but those doubts were quashed when he penned a two-year extension with the club, according to The Star.

If the goal of the video was to get a few certain Sheffield Wednesday fans excited, then he has succeeded. One fan responded "I honestly can't put into words how much I love you", another said "what a beautiful sight", and one fan even said he was the best keeper he's seen at Hillsborough, saying "yes Westwood best keeper I've seen at SWFC by a country mile and all the fans are buzzing your staying pal".
