Portsmouth head into tonight's south coast derby against their bitter rivals Southampton in dismal form, with the Fratton Park outfit having picked up just one win in League One this season, thus piling the pressure on Pompey boss Kenny Jackett.

Coming off the back of their 1-0 defeat to Wycombe Wanderers last Saturday, Jackett will be hoping his charges can pull off something of an upset against their bitter rivals as the club look to progress to the next round of the Carabao Cup this evening, in a match that could potentially seal the ex-Millwall manager's fait.

Tensions are high amongst the club's fanbase, with many calling for Jackett to leave the club in recent weeks, however the club's poor run of form has not prevented the club's director Eric Eisner from expressing his excitement ahead of the big game tonight, with the American tweeting his excitement this morning upon his arrival in London.
