Norwich City have seriously struggled for goals this season and have been far too reliant on Nelson Oliveira, who has scored just under a third of their entire league total.

A big reason for that struggle is the form of Cameron Jerome. Usually prolific in the Championship, the ex-Birmingham City forward hasn’t made an impact this season.

All in all, the 31-year old has managed just one goal from 14 appearances in the league.

His goals were vital to the Canaries when they won promotion in 2015 but even last season he managed to bag 16 in the campaign.

So, is Jerome just going through a bad patch as most strikers do? Or is he not up to it anymore at this level?

We take a look…

George Dagless

It's been a tough patch.

Jerome is an experienced Championship campaigner and knows what it takes to score goals at this level.

However, he is been well out of form this season - despite his good work rate - and I think Daniel Farke needs to look at his options in January.

Sam Rourke

You have to say it is.

At the age of 31, the former Birmimgham striker has seemed to have lost his cutting edge in front of goal.

Jerome's nowhere near as prolific as he used to be, and he needs to resurrect his form if he is to re-gain a starting eleven spot in the Norwich side.

Adam Simeoni

Jerome was sensational last season, so I don't think his career is over by any stretch of the imagination.

He has been a little out of form of late, and will undoubtedly begin to find his feet once more.

Don't write him off just yet.

Alfie Burns

Yes, he is not the same striker that has previously spearheaded Norwich’s promotion campaigns.

Jerome has been a magnificent striker over the years, who has consistently scored goals in the Championship, but his career is fading fast.

The 31-year-old still has a part to play, but cannot be trusted as Norwich’s leading man.
