Following the agony of Wednesday night's Championship play-off semi final defeat to Derby, a number of the Leeds United squad have spoken of their disappointment at missing out on promotion to the Premier League on social media, whilst also promising another campaign competing for a place in the top flight next season.

One of those to have sent such a message is Polish midfielder Mateusz Klich, who paid tribute to the club's "unbelievable" fans, while also claiming that he is unable to describe bad he feels in a Tweet to his 63,200 followers.

Klich, who made just four league appearances for Leeds last season before going out on loan to Dutch side Utrecht for the second half of that campaign, has started every game of Leeds' promotion push this year, and a number of the club's fans were keen to pay tribute to his contribution when responding to Klich's Tweet.

Here are some of the best of those reactions.
