Wolves have managed to re-establish themselves as a Premier League club and they are well in contention to seal a European spot.

Champions League football for next season is not out of the question right now, and that shows just how far they have come in such a short period of time.

They're bound to look to add in the summer, then, but might they also look to use the academy further?

Over the years some good players have come through the club, and here are five that you might have forgotten about being at Molineux:

Bennett was on the books at Wolves but never got to make a name for himself at senior level.

After some loan spells he'd eventually end up at Brighton, whilst he's now playing for Blackburn Rovers who are gunning for the play-off places in the Championship.

Malone grew up at Wolves but, like Bennett, never got to play for the senior side.

Again, some loan spells would be spent away from the club until Bournemouth made his stay a permanent one.

A solid Championship player, he's been at Derby County since 2018.

Leon Clarke has played for so many clubs in his career that it's easy to forget it all started at Wolves.

He played for the senior side, too, but perhaps only showed his best form not so long ago for current club Sheffield United when the Blades were in the Championship.

Winnall was another to never get to play for the senior side, with him spending loan spells at the likes of Burton and Hereford, before sealing a permanent move to Scunthorpe United.

He's now at Sheffield Wednesday.

Collymore was seen as a real attacking talent during his playing career and featured for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

He was on the books at Wolves for a brief period, though, before Crystal Palace gave him his first taste of senior football.
