Aston Villa made it eight wins in a row on Saturday as they beat Bristol City 2-1 at Villa Park to strengthen their grip on a play-off place.

With Jack Grealish missing out through illness, Dean Smith was looking for others to step up - which Anwar El Ghazi did.

The winger was outstanding against the Robins and made what turned out to be the winner for Conor Hourihane.

And, he, along with his teammates, appear to have been rewarded for that with a few days off as we approach another hectic period in the calendar.

El Ghazi took to twitter earlier today to share a picture of himself in Holland as he enjoys some rest before Friday's game against Bolton.

The twice-capped Dutch international made his debut as a teenager at Ajax as a teenager and clearly enjoys returning home.

As you would expect, his post prompted a lot of responses from Villa fans and it's fair to say they are pleased with how the on-loan winger is performing.
