Aston Villa’s season has taken a recent upturn, with Steve Bruce’s side now looking up the Sky Bet Championship table.

Following a difficult couple of months at the start of 2017, there was serious fear at Villa Park that the club could be facing another relegation battle.

However, Bruce has masterminded a turnaround in results, which has sent Villa careering up the Championship table.

Five victories from their last six fixtures, has seen Bruce’s side rise to 12th in the table and now looking to restore some pride that was lost during the first-half of the campaign.

Bruce is starting to welcome back a number of players to his first-team, which has coincided with the club's upturn in results. One player that is close to returning is teenage striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.

The 18-year old has made just two substitute appearances for Villa this season, after missing a large part of 2017 through injury.

Hepburn-Murphy has now taken to his Twitter account to deliver a message to Villa fans, stating he is edging closer to a return.
