After parting company with Steve McClaren on Monday afternoon, Queens Park Rangers have reportedly held talks with former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood.
That's according to the Times, who claim that the 50-year old is believed to have entered discussions with the West London club, although he has his concerns over the club's financial position.
The club were hit with a transfer embargo at the start of the season, meaning that McClaren was only able to sign players on a free transfer or on loan.
Sherwood's last managerial role came at Aston Villa, where he won just 10 out of 28 games in charge of the West Midlands side during a eight-month stay at Villa Park, and was also appointed as director of football of Swindon Town which lasted just seven months after they relegated to League Two.
But having worked with R's' director of football Les Ferdinand before in his career, an appointment could well be on the cards. Here, we take a look at QPR fans' reactions to the potential appointment of Sherwood at Loftus Road.
