Former Leeds United boss Garry Monk chose to leave Elland Road in the summer to head Middlesbrough’s assault upon a Premier League return following their demotion the year before, with the 38-year-old handed a transfer war chest never before seen at this level before this season.

However things didn't quite work out at The Riverside Stadium, and after failing to challenge for an automatic promotion spot over the course of the first half of the season, Monk was given his marching orders, and replaced by experienced Welshman, Tony Pulis.

The former Swansea City player has so far failed to land a new job in management, and has been enjoying his time away from the game, taking to the slopes to ski.

Unable to participate in the winter sport during his playing career, Monk shared a video of himself on Twitter speeding down the mountains.

As expected Leeds and Boro fans were quick to add their humorous remarks to the clip....
