“You always gave 100%”, “Accidental cult hero” – Hull fans bid farewell to departing forward

Hull City striker Adama Diomande had his contract cancelled by the club last night.
This was to allow the forward to complete his move to the United States, where he joins MLS side Los Angeles FC.
Diomande ends his three-year stay at the KCOM Stadium, having scored eight goals in 64 appearances for the Tigers.
This included two goals in 22 Premier League appearances and the 10-cap Norway international once in 19 games this season for Nigel Adkins’ side.
Now the 28-year-old bids farewell to Hull and will embark on his new adventure in the United States.
Hull fans took to Twitter to share their views on Diomande’s departure with many predicting that he will be the first of many to join a summer exodus out of the club.
Here are a selection of the best replies to Hull’s official Twitter account when they announced the news that Diomande had departed the club.

Good luck dio, despite what fans say you always gave 100% and that’s all we could ever ask for!

I know some Championship keepers with better goal scoring stats then this guy!
Invest in quality, and get quality….
Support the supporters and they might just turn up to watch a match!

City won't be replacing him with anyone, he's the first one down with no replacement coming in. Good luck to Bambi at his new club, its a bit warmer there so there wont be any ice he can continually slip on. Whenever he played, the team may aswell have ran out to "Ravel's Bolero"

Accidental cult hero. Stay strong Dio, can’t imagine you’re heartache from having the luxury of living in Hull to living in LA
