York v Fleetwood play off match postponed

The League Two play off fixture between York City and Fleetwood Town has been postponed due to heavy rainfall.

Alexander’s side will have to wait to play again

The original kick off time was due to be 7:45, however, it got put back to 8pm due to a water-logged pitch.

However, following another inspection by both manager’s, and match officials, the game was postponed due to a heavily water-logged playing surface at Bootham Crescent.

A date for the first leg is yet to be announced, though it will probably be on Tuesday evening, with the return leg at Highbury on the Friday.
