Stoke City head back into action following the international break with manager Gary Rowett hoping his side can make it three wins on the bounce when they entertain Birmingham City at the bet365 Stadium this Saturday afternoon.
Stoke are down in 14th place some nine points behind leaders Sheffield United but Rowett will be buoyed by the wins over Bolton and Norwich and will be hoping the tide is turning.
But is there one thing that should be concerning Stoke fans right now?
Their away form will be a huge concern for Stoke fans this season.
With only one away win in the league this season, Gary Rowett will be keen for an upturn in form away from home if they are to mount any sort of challenge towards the top six this season.
Their only away win of the season did come against Norwich before the international break so the Potters will be hoping they can build on that impressive win.
You’d probably say Gary Rowett has some convincing to do but things have improved.
It’s still early to say that they have turned a corner but they do seem in the process so, whilst concern will remain, things aren’t as alarming as they were.
Yes, Gary Rowett.
He’s limited in my eyes. Didn’t make it with a good Derby side and lives off the Burton success.
The club is too big for him, his haphazard summer recruitment shows that.
They need someone more experienced.
It has been completely unconvincing all season and Rowett still does not seem to know his best combination.
