Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson is targeting more loan players to strengthen his squad.
The Glovers have lost three of their four opening games of the season, including a 1-2 League Cup defeat by Gillingham, and Johnson is looking to improve on the poor start by adding to his squad.
Despite being close to his maximum budget for player wages, Johnson is keen to strengthen the squad, with Joel Grant, James Berrett and Liam Davis all injured and Matteo Lanzoni seemingly heading for the exit.
Speaking to the Western Morning News, he said: “We’ve got to keep looking because to keep that passion and to keep that drive we’ve got to create competition and the same lads won’t be able to do that week-in, week-out.
“We’ve got 14 or 15 and we’ve got to try and get that up. It’s up to me to look and when I find someone I will talk to my board who looked very happy after the win. They follow us all over the country so full credit to them.”
