Blackpool need to try and kickstart their season this week as they face Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship.

An opening day win against Reading set 'Pool up nicely but two losses in their last two league games has left them down towards the wrong end of the table.

Of course, there is still a long way to go and Tangerines fans won't be panicking yet, though a loss against Rangers this week obviously makes this start to the campaign a poor one.

Here's the XI Michael Appleton may name to get them going this week:

Injuries to the likes of Keshi Anderson, Luke Garbutton, Jake Beesley and Kevin Stewart mean they will all be missing this game, whilst this game also likely comes too soon for Gary Madine.

Jordan Gabriel and James Husband have both been used tentatively recently in their respective returns from injury, meanwhile, and will likely be part of the squad if they do not start.

It's an important game for the Seasiders after a narrow defeat against Swansea, and their fans will hope the players are ready to make amends.
