League Two side Wycombe Wanderers have signing former Scunthorpe striker Paul Hayes on a two-year deal according to the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
The 30-year old striker was released by Scunthorpe last week but has managed to find himself a new club in a short period of time. The Englishman has officially re-joined League Two side Wycombe Wanderers.
The striker joined Wycombe on loan in 2012 and scored six goals in six appearances. However, the club were unable to extend his loan spell at the club. Since then he has had spells at Brentford, Crawley Town, Plymouth Argyle and Scunthorpe.
This past season he joined Scunthorpe midway through the season, despite this he managed to play 16 games whilst he only scored four goals.
Despite the goal scoring record, Wycombe have decided to hand him a two-year deal at the club as they see him as a player with bags of ability and a load of experience playing for teams at a higher level.
Current Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth stated that one of the main reasons he acted fast in earning Hayes’ signature was due to his prolific form at the club in his month loan in 2012.
