West Brom boss Jimmy Shan has made just the one change for tonight's play-off semi-final against Aston Villa, with Jacob Murphy replacing the suspended Dwight Gayle.

The influential striker was controversially sent off late on as Albion fell to a 2-1 defeat at Villa Park on Saturday, which has left them with an uphill task tonight.

However, Shan has decided to keep the changes to a minimum, with the on-loan Newcastle man given the nod.

That means the Baggies are likely to set up with a 5-4-1 formation that will be more like a 3-4-3 when they attack, with Murphy and Matt Phillips supporting Jay Rodriguez from out wide.

In some good news for Shan, centre-back Craig Dawson is fit despite going off at half-time in the first leg.

It's fair to say that the team news prompted a mixed response from West Brom supporters who know what's at stake against their west Midlands rivals.
