We're just hours away from the Championship returning and it's set to come back with a bang as Leeds United host Sheffield United in a Yorkshire derby at Elland Road.

A few weeks ago, Leeds fans might have been really worried about this game whilst a few months ago, Blades fans wouldn't have thought that this would be a big game in the early title race for them. Even so, Leeds can now be positive after their Bristol City win and we're all aware of Sheffield United's title credentials now so we should be in for a great game.

The atmosphere should be red hot, too, under the Elland Road lights tonight and it might just be written in the stars that Billy Sharp is going to score. A former Leeds player, it never really worked for him at Elland Road but it's certainly working with the Blades these days with him still a huge threat.

And, worryingly for Leeds, they're going to have to try and combat this stat - as per Goodbrand Stats on Twitter:

Sharp has a decent record for away sides at Elland Road, then, and a repeat of that tonight could hand the Blades another big win.

The Verdict

Sharp was a threat before this stat came to light and now Leeds are going to have to be wary even more.

Things like this shouldn't play on the mind but sometimes they do and the Whites will need to watch Sharp like a hawk, as well as attacking well themselves.
