West Brom manager Slaven Bilic is setting his sights high for the January transfer window with the Baggies planning a £15 million bid for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen, as he looks to gain automatic promotion to the Premier League, according to a report on Football Insider.

The winger, 22, has been subject to much transfer speculation over the last 18 months and it is likely that the Baggies will face competition if they wish to secure his services.

So would Bowen be a good addition at the Hawthorns and is he worth the £15 million price-tag?

We discuss.........

Dean Cooke

"He's definitely worth that, if not a bit more. He's a game changer and someone that can make the difference, especially in this decision.

"Bowen has what it takes to be a Premier League player in the future so this would be a very good signing for West Brom and one that could very much guide them to the Championship title.

"At this current time, he's arguably the best player in the whole division, and if he keeps it up, he may well go on to play at the highest level. If Hull were to accept the offer, West Brom would have a great player on their hands.

"It may prompt a bidding war due to the interest in the player from other teams, and if a Premier League club came in for him, he may not choose West Brom. If the Baggies were to get him for that price, then that would be a very good signing and excellent bit of business."

George Brooks

"Jarrod Bowen would be an excellent signing for West Brom in my opinion.

"He's one of the best attacking players in the Championship for me and I think he'd be a prefect fit for the style of attacking football that West Brom play under Slaven Bilic

"He's been magnificent for Hull City so far this season, delivering goals and assists on pretty much a weekly basis. At the age of just 22, he's only going to improve and grow in confidence as he gains more experience. Taking all this into account, I think he's well worth £15million.

"I think it's only a matter of time before he makes the step up to the Premier League, so he'd be a quality signing if West Brom were to get him."

Sam Rourke

"Wow, what a statement this'd be.

"Bowen is arguably one of if not the hottest property in the Championship and for West Brom to sign him in January would be a major showing of their intent to seal promotion.

"I fully expect Bowen to be a Premier League player, and still expect him to secure a top-flight move with a number of clubs being touted with a move for the attacker.

"In this day and age, £15m would be a bargain for a player that is only going to develop and get even better, with it worth considering he is only 22 years old.
