Leeds United are plotting a loan move for Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Would the 22-year-old be a good signing for Paul Heckingbottom's side?

We discuss....

Alfie Burns

Wow, what a signing this would be.

Gunn has had an excellent year with Norwich and looks to have a huge future ahead of him.

I’m not 100% convinced he’d be a guaranteed starter at Elland Road, as Bailey Peacock-Farrell is highly-rated. However, having the two competing for the gloves would be excellent for the Whites.

Chris Gallagher

This would be a great signing for Leeds.

They are in desperate need of a quality keeper and Gunn has proven himself to be very good at this level.

There's sure to be competition for the Man City man so if Leeds manage to convince him to come to Elland Road it would be a major deal for the club.

Jay Williams

Last season at Norwich, Gunn showed that he is one of the best goalkeepers in the Championship and Leeds should definitely go ahead with this deal.

What Gunn lacks in age, he makes up for in maturity and his performances have been so good that he has caught the eye of Gareth Southgate already.

Leeds should get rid of Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan and have Bailey Peacock-Farrell competing with Gunn for the goalkeeper jersey.

Ben Barkworth

Bringing in Gunn could hinder Bailey Peacock-Farrell's development.

However, this would be a statement of intent from Leeds because it ensures they aren't left light in the goalkeeping area or reliant on a youngster who could make mistakes as he develops.

George Dagless

He'd be a top signing.

He's more than good enough for any side in the second tier and some in the Premier League with his performances at Norwich very good indeed.

BPF looks set to be a decent stopper but Gunn is a level above and would surely be a good player for the Whites.
