‘Wow, this is strange’ – Nottingham Forest fans react to 1-1 draw with Preston North End

Nottingham Forest managed their first draw of the season this afternoon at Deepdale, coming out with a 1-1 draw from their trip to Lancashire.

It could have been even better for the Reds, as they took the lead in the second half through a goal by young talent Ben Brereton, with the highly rated forward tucking away following an excellent passage of play from the away side.

However, Mark Warburton’s men could not hold on, and an equalising goal from central defender Paul Huntingdon was enough to rescue a point for the home side.

The point was a good result though for Forest in the end, and the result sent them into Christmas with something to build on in what’s going to be a busy period of fixtures with important points on offer.

Following the game, plenty of Forest things had things to say about the game, with many expressing a sense of surprise that their club have finally drawn a game!

Here’s a look at some of the reactions from Forest fans following the game at Deepdale…
