Plenty of West Bromwich Albion fans have poked fun at Watford after their terrible start to the Premier League season.
The Hornets are on the lookout for their third manager of the season already, after Quique Sanchez Flores was sacked on Sunday afternoon.
The 54-year-old won just two out of 12 games in charge of the Hertfordshire club during a two-month stay in charge at Vicarage Road, and was unable to steer them away from the relegation zone.
Watford sit six points adrift of safety at the bottom of the Premier League table having won just one league game all season long – with plenty of West Brom fans poking fun at former captain Craig Dawson.
Can you get 18 out of 18 on this West Brom quiz?
Dawson moved to Watford after demanding a return to the top-flight – last summer, he handed in a transfer request at The Hawthorns, but remained at the club and helped them reach the play-off semi-finals.
But after missing out on promotion to the top-flight, the central defender moved to Watford in the summer for a reported fee of £5.5m.
With Ben Foster also establishing himself as a regular for the Hornets, West Brom fans in the Facebook group “We Am The Baggies” have sent their messages to the pair…
Joseph Chadwick: To be fair, they served their time with us. Yes, Dawson threw the toys out the pram, but they wanted to play at the highest level, cant blame them for that.
Dan Mcneil: No. If Foster truly cared about our club he would’ve stayed for at least one season to try and get the club to where we belong. He left immediately & definitely lost my respect for that. Dawson.. meh whatever, we’ve got king Bartley 😉
Craig Belmore: Still say Foster was pushed, that seems common knowledge, Daws, well hes tried it and he’ll be back in the championship next season, what’s he gonna do then, leave again for the prem?
Simon Hill: I agree with what your saying about Dawson but not foster he’s been outstanding this season for Watford and saved them so many times
Lee Hughes: Foster was forced out due to age and money he was on he never wanted to leave n has supported us all season
Adam Murphy: Both decent servants for me. Wouldn’t get in our current squad, but served a purpose for a time for us. I hope they do well. I remember times when these were the 1st two players names on the team sheet. People are fical though and we need to remember where we came from
Malcolm Warrilow: Both jumped ship for a smaller club who can’t even fill 20,000 seats. lol
