Bristol City ended their season with a 1-1 draw against Hull City, a result that confirmed that the Robins narrowly missed out on the end of season play-offs ending up in eighth spot, four points behind Derby County in sixth.

Robins manager Lee Johnson will now start his preparation for their next Championship campaign with the retention of  loanees Tomas Kalas, Jay Dasilva and Kasey a priority, as reported in the Bristol Post.

So, is it the right move for City to try to keep hold of the Chelsea loan trio?

We discuss........

George Brooks

"I think so.

"Palmer, Kalas and Dasilva have all been important players for Bristol City in the Championship this season.

"It would show great ambition and send a message to their Championship rivals if they could keep them at the club next season."

Gary Hutchinson

“Yeah, absolutely.

“They were close to the top six and that trio were excellent.

“Those loans are so important, especially for a side like Bristol City that don’t have millions to spend.

“Three very good players right there.”

Jacob Potter

"It’s a step in the right direction.

"This would show some serious ambition if they were able to keep the trio at the club next season.

"They have been impressive in this year’s campaign, and it’s good to see Lee Johnson doing everything he can to bring them in next season.

"It’s a no-brainer for the Bristol City boss."
