Neil Harris has confirmed that Nottingham Forest's Albert Adomah is a player who he "would love to work with" amid recent speculation surrounding the winger.

Adomah has recently been linked with a move from Forest, as per reports from TEAMtalk, after falling out of favour under Sabri Lamouchi on Trentside.

TEAMtalk claim that Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City are both interested in signing the 32-year-old, who is out of contract at Forest next summer.

Adomah is no stranger to Cardiff, after spending the second half of last season on loan with the Bluebirds, making a positive impression in his nine appearances for the club.

The winger was controversially recalled by Forest towards the end of the campaign, though, as they seemingly looked to weaken Cardiff's chances of making the top-six ahead of the Reds.

Speaking to Wales Online, Harris admitted that Adomah is a player who he would "love to work with again" - however cast doubt on a potential move before the end of this window.

He said: "Albert did great for me, I’m really fond of Albert. At the moment, we have four wide players at the moment that are all desperate to play.

"Albert will always be on my radar because he’s a really good bloke and his record in a Cardiff shirt was very impressive.

"Albert is certainly a player, if given the opportunity, I would love to work with again. Will that be in this window? I'm not sure about that."

The Verdict

I can definitely see Adomah leaving before the end of the window, but as Harris said, Cardiff don't really need wingers at the moment.

I can see him joining QPR as Mark Warburton's side need another winger or two, and he'd be a great addition to the West London side both on and off the pitch.

Cardiff shouldn't just sign players for the sake of it, but if they were genuinely interested before the end of the window, then I could see a deal getting done.
