Bolton Wanderers are quickly beginning to run out of time if they are going to save themselves from relegation this season. 

Phil Parkinson's side currently sit second-bottom of the Championship with 33 matches played and three points from safety and just 13 matches left to save themselves.

Off the pitch, issues continue to embroil the club with Parkinson desperately trying to maintain on-field matters but with little success, winning just once in their last nine matches.

Goals have been an issue all season and in what must be a last gasp bid save their season, the club have taken striker Marvin Emnes on trial.

The former Swansea City, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers man has been without a club since January where he was released by Vancouver.

Wanderers certainly need some more firepower, but the Dutchman's record is far from convincing scoring just 55 goals in his entire career.
