Fulham have received an offer in the region of £22.5m from Villarreal for midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, as per Sky Sports.

Anguissa arrived at Craven Cottage from Marseille last season, with Fulham breaking their transfer record and splashing £30m on the Cameroonian midfielder.

The 24-year-old made 25 appearances for the Cottagers as they were relegated from the Premier League last term, and he has since spent this season on loan in La Liga with Villarreal.

After an impressive loan spell at Villarreal, where he has scored two goals and produced as many assists in 39 appearances, Villarreal have reportedly sent Fulham an offer in the region of £22.5m for Anguissa.

Here, the FLW team discuss how Scott Parker's side should respond to the offer...

George Dagless

Completely.

He's had a good season away from Fulham and though there might be a thought process that he could be good for them if he played next season, it makes sense to cash in.

If he flopped again, his value would go through the floor and so I think it makes sense to sell now and move on from this one.

He's clearly a good player, it just didn't work over here so Fulham would be silly to do anything but accept this one.

Without a shadow of a doubt.

Anguissa just never seemed to settle at Craven Cottage and it was increasingly likely that his time in west London was coming to an end.

For Fulham to receive a bid of this size amid this current financial climate is quite remarkable, and a deal that the Cottagers simply cannot say no to.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful stint on loan at Villareal this season, and there is no doubting that the central midfielder has pedigree and ability.

But, Fulham just cannot turn this down with it pretty clear that he's not a fundamental part of Scott Parker's plans.

Have these 9 things happened to Fulham this season?

They should definitely accept this offer.

Anguissa has caught the eye with some impressive performances for Villarreal this season, and they're clearly determined to get their man in the summer transfer window.

Fulham are in contention to win promotion into the Premier League this season, and I think they need a complete rebuild whatever the outcome of this year's campaign.

Anguissa is certainly one of the players they should look to move on in the summer, and it should be a no-brainer for the Cottagers to cash-in on him.

They could reinvest those funds into other areas of the squad, which could aid their adjustment to potential life back in the top-flight.
